Can You Read My Mind...?

The problem is, when we don't find a logical answer, we settle for a stupid one. Ritual is what happens when we run out of rationale.

Folktales you've had

Uncle Jeff said :
How we can expect us to believe that the children listening to their parents………when TARZAN living half-naked, CINDERELLA coming home after midnight, PINOCCHIO lies all the time, ALADDIN is the king of the thieves, PRINCESS AURORA is lazy and SNOW WHITE living together with 7 dwarfs.
We shouldn't be surprised when the children mismanage themselves, they get it from the folktales.

IF

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master; If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinewTo serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

Friday Contemplation

BISMILLAH,

"So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be
recompensed except for what you used to do." (Ya-Sin 36:54)

O Allah the Creator of the sky and the earth the Knower of the hidden and the apparent, the Most Kind (and) generous. I promise Thee that I had been all the time giving evidence that there is no God except Thee and Thou art One that has no partner and that Muhammad (blessings of Allah be on him & his progeny) is Thy servant and Thy Prophet. And the Day of Resurrection will definitely come. And there is no doubt about it that the people who are dead and buried, You will give them life once more. And Your taking account is justified, and Paradise is justified, and all the rewards which are promised in Paradise whether they are concerned with eating or drinking & Nikah are all justified and Hell is justified and faith is justified, and faith is as you have made it. Islam is as You have sanctioned according to Shariat, whatever things you have said remain as they are, Quraan-e-Majid remains as You have revealed. and verily You are the Almighty and Justified God and in this world I once more take an oath that Thou, I agree, art the only God, Islam is the religion, Muhammad (Blessing of Allah be on him and his progeny) is the prophet, and Ali is the Imam and the Holy Quran is the Book and Verily Ahlul Bait of your prophet (peace be on them) are the imams. O Allah Thou art my Trust during my hardship; and my Hope during my trouble; and my Reliance for my matters which befall me and You are my Guardian in my bliss; and my God and God of my parents Send blessing on Muhammad and his progeny and do not leave me to my self for twinkling of my eye at any time; and grant me safety in my loneliness; and make for me with Yourself a Pledge on the day I meet you on being raised up.

Today, I saw a death of my neighbor that makes me think that life really can be so hard to lived for. He left a very beloved wife and 5 children. And, how a woman without having experience in financial responsibility can handle all aspect of their life, children's education, daily needs, emergency saving, and all of household equipment.
If it happened to you, how scared are you?
The most thing that can calm me only Allah's promises that I read on Al-Qur'an. Allah will never give a trial to humans if they can't face it. So, it have already answered that people who been given suffers are the people who believed by Allah can pass it. Be strong brothers and sisters. You may cry, you may upset, you may grieve, but you may not lose your hope. When you have no hope, that's the end of your life. Hope that always make human survive till now. Hope that can relief your pain, and hope that can make you open to other humans. Among those hope, you must pray to God, and ask your particular wish that will make your life better, and don't forget to give many dua s to your beloved family that had left you. Hopefully Someday, if your good deed save you in afterlife, may we can meet each other. Amin

If you forget Me / Si Tu Me Oldivas

One of my favorite poem. Still, it's always about love, pals ;) And I also put the real language that is in Spanish language

If you forget me
by : Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists:
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.

Si Tu Me Oldivas

Quiero que sepas
una cosa.

T sabes cmo es esto:
si miro
la luna de cristal, la rama roja
del lento otoo en mi ventana,
si toco
junto al fuego
la impalpable ceniza
o el arrugado cuerpo de la lea,
todo me lleva a ti,
como si todo lo que existe:
aromas, luz, metales,
fueran pequeos barcos que navegan
hacia las islas tuyas que me aguardan.

Ahora bien,
si poco a poco dejas de quererme
dejar de quererte poco a poco.

Si de pronto
me olvidas
no me busques,
que ya te habr olvidado.

Si consideras largo y loco
el viento de banderas
que pasa por mi vida
y te decides
a dejarme a la orilla
del corazn en que tengo races,
piensa
que en esa da,
a esa hora
levantar los brazos
y saldrn mis races
a buscar otra tierra.

Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Native American Leader

Amin!

Today, I remember about a poem that have been written in Spiritual Quotient (by Ian Marshall) and inspired by Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Native American Leader. So, i searched it in Google. Actually, I've wrote it in every notebook when i was in college, but I have no idea where the notebook gone now because last time I used that book was 4 years ago. Every time I remember each words of those poem, I can't realize that teardrop has already flowing through my cheek. Truly, that is the most beautiful words that I've ever read. Hopefully, in every sec I remember those poem will always reminding me about the Most Holy of ALLAH SWT. And for you, may it giving you a calm and power to face this life :)

The Invitation
by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can
disappoint another to be true to yourself. If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty even when it is not pretty every day. And if you can source your own life from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, ‘Yes.’

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.

It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Save my little prayer

The Majesty, gifted me a total separation from anything and anyone except You, and gifted me a tight bound to You.
Brightening my sight of heart with views that always see You, so light's boundaries become ripped off and wellspring source of shine has been reached and our souls being squeezed by Your pure dazzle.
The Loving One, let me become a wound healer, when come souls with opened wound in their chest and I'll wash those wound with love;
when come souls with heavy suffering that can't be told, and I'll try to support them with love;
when come souls with swelling eyes and tear drops, and I wipe it with love; when come souls with soft voice to tell the story about their sorrow, and I'll listen it with love;
when come souls wrapped by frail body who are very starving and sick, and I'll give them a love dish that I serve with my whole heart;
when come souls that expecting much and I'll hug them with all love in my heart.

Orgasmic Mind of A Woman

Achieving sexual climax requires a complex conspiracy of sensory and psychological signals—and the eventual silencing of critical brain areas. Sexual desire and orgasm are subject to various influences on the brain and nervous system, which controls the sex glands and genitals. The ingredients of desire may differ for men and women, but researchers have revealed some surprising similarities. For example, visual stimuli spur sexual stirrings in women, as they do in men.

Studies in neuroscience have involved chemicals that are present in the brain and might be involved when people experience love. These chemicals include: nerve growth factor, testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonine, oxytocin and vasopressin. Adequate brain levels of testosterone seem important for both human male and female sexual behavior. Dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin are more commonly found during the attraction phase of a relationship.Oxytocin and vasopressin seemed to be more closely linked to long term bonding and relationships characterized by strong attachments.

A scan developed by American scientists could sneak a peek inside the brain of a woman while she is enjoying orgasm. Researchers from the Rutgers University were able to discover that that sexual arousal tends to numb the female nervous system to such an extent that she does not feel as much pain-only pleasure.

The researchers asked eight women to stimulate themselves while lying under a blanket inside a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, a tunnel-like machine often used to detect brain tumours. Most women took less than five minutes to reach an orgasm although some took as long as 20. During that time, the MRI scanner took images of their brain every two seconds to show which parts became active during the orgasm. The scientists found that two minutes before the orgasm, the brain’s reward centres become active, the areas usually activated when eating food and drink.

Clitoral stimulation by itself led to activation in areas of the brain involved in receiving and perceiving sensory signals from that part of the body and in describing a body sensation—for instance, labeling it “sexual.” But when a woman reached orgasm, something unexpected happened: much of her brain went silent. Some of the most muted neurons sat in the left lateral orbitofrontal cortex, which may govern self-control over basic desires such as sex. Decreased activity there, the researchers suggest, might correspond to a release of tension and inhibition. The scientists also saw a dip in excitation in the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex, which has an apparent role in moral reasoning and social judgment—a change that may be tied to a suspension of judgment and reflection. Brain activity fell in the amygdala, too, suggesting a depression of vigilance similar to that seen in men, who generally showed far less deactivation in their brain during orgasm than their female counterparts did. “Fear and anxiety need to be avoided at all costs if a woman wishes to have an orgasm.

“At the moment of orgasm, women do not have any emotional feelings.”
